Milan Linate Airport Arrivals (LIN)

Passengers arriving at Linate Airport will find one large terminal building that serves both departure and arrival flights. The Arrival area is located on the ground floor of the terminal. Airlines at Linate Airport fly in from many destinations across Italy and Europe. The airport serves domestic and international flights.

After clearing the customs control procedures (if required), and re-claiming baggage, passengers will find an array of useful facilities at the airport Arrivals area. The Left Baggage (baggage storage) service is available every day of the week between the hours of 07:00 and 21:30. Passengers can use the baggage trolleys or the help of a porter to easily carry their luggage.

At the Arrivals level, is the Forexchange (VAT refund), which is open every day between 08:00 and 21:00, as well as the Banca Pop, di Milano (with cashpoint) and a Deutsche Bank cashpoint for banking requirements.

A post office with telegram services is available from Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 19:00, and on Saturdays from 08:30 to 12:30. Other facilities include a chemist, the First Aid Medical service and a laundry service.

Information about Milan, attractions, arts, sports or the Milano Fiera can be provided by the ‘Welcome Desk Meeting Milano’, in the Arrivals area. At the desk passengers can also make hotel reservations or arrange to rent a car with a driver. The desk is open every day between 07:30 and 23:30.

Traveling from the airport to central Milan, or any other destination is easy, as there are many bus services available. There is no train station at the airport, but the buses do travel to the Stazione Centrale, from where travelers can make use of the trains. Bus and train tickets can be purchased at the Airport 2000. The Starfly Bus has an area in Arrivals for the purchase of bus tickets. All the major car hire companies are at Linate Airport as well. Taxis are available in the taxi stand outside the Arrivals area. Linate Airport is only 7km/4 miles from central Milan, and the trip takes about 10 – 20 minutes by any means of transportation. Rent a car Milan facilities are available nearby, and travelers arriving to the airport will not fail to see the signs indicating their location.

Some hotels within 7km of the airport include the Holiday Inn Milan Linate Hotel, Albergo Pavone, Novotel Milano Est Aeroporto Hotel, Best Western Hotel Ascot, Hotel Perugino, Crowne Plaza Milan Airport and the Sheraton Diana Majestic Hotel. Most of the hotels in Milan offer a courtesy shuttle as transportation from the airport.

Disabled/reduced mobility passengers at Linate can be provided with special assistance by Sala Amica. To arrange this service, the passenger should inform the airline of their special needs at the time of booking the flight. Arriving passengers will then be assisted through passport control and baggage claim, and up until the time that they leave the airport.

If you are picking up an arriving passenger at Linate Aiport, there is short stay parking available directly in front of the terminal. While waiting, you can enjoy the various shops or food corners at the airport.
