Lamezia Terme Airport Parking

Lamezia-Terme Airport is located in the Calabrian region of Italy, 3km from the town of Lamezia Terme. he airport can be easily accessed from all five provinces of Calabria, and is near to the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway. It is about 1km from the highway exit.

Nearby the airport is Catanzaro 35km, Cosenza 75km, dalle Terme di Caronte 8km, Vibo Valentia 43km, Pizzo 30km and Tropea 60km. Reggio Calabria is a little further away at 135km.

Lamezia Airport parking is available to all passengers and visitors arriving at the airport by car. Seen that Lamezia-Terme Airport is quite a small airport, its parking facilities are not nearly as extensive as some of the larger Italian airports. However, most individuals making use of the parking will find it adequate for their needs.

It is always convenient to find airport parking close to the terminal building. At Lamezia-Terme Airport the parking area is only 30 meters away, in front of the Arrival and Departure building. The main parking area is open between the hours of 05:00 and 24:00. Prices vary depending on the length of the parking period required. Parking up to 2 hours is 2 euro, up to 6 hours is 3 euro, up to 12 hours is 6.50 euro, up to 18 hours is 8.50 euro and 24 hours is 10 euro. After 24 hours the parking is charged in 12 hour increments, with 36 hours at 13.50 euro, 48 hours at 16 euro, and 60 hours at 19 euro, 72 hours at 23 euro and 96 hours at 26 euro. Thereafter, 5 days is charged at 29 euro (120 hours) and 148 hours at 32 euro. 7 days has a charge of 35 euro. Any days parked after 7 days have an extra 3 euro charge; regardless of how many hours in that day the parking facility is used. The exact and current parking rates are posted at the entrance to the parking lot.

There are 17 parking spaces available for disabled passengers. These are free parking spaces.

The parking areas can be used for long or short-term parking. Lamezia Terme Airport does not accept parking reservations. There is security at the main parking area to guard against vehicle theft.

To pay for the parking, passengers may also make use of pre-paid parking cards, or may subscribe to airport parking for 6 months or 1 year. The airport is currently deciding upon new forms of subscriptions and use of pre-paid cards. The paid parking area is almost completely automated.

Passengers who do not wish to search for parking at Lamezia-Terme Airport, can arrive by bus or taxi. There are quite a few bus services, including Bus Ferrovie della Calabria, Bus Romano Autolinee Regionali and Bus Fersav. A taxi to Lamezia Airport could be more convenient if you have a large amount of luggage, or very heavy luggage.
